@jasontheboring talked about it on one of my feed posts, and turns out that there are people who don't know about this.

you can frame by frame a swf file on dojo.
right click on it and press f to move forward to the next frame.
right click on it and press b to move back to the previous frame.

(note that this doesn't work on some swfs like externus' because he did something with actionscript to prevent it, i guess.
and it also doesn't work with fastswf.com for a similar/same reason.)

you don't have to do this with a swf on your computer. you can either do use:
. to forward and , to back
ctrl -> to forward and ctrl <- to back

(but i can't seem to do the above for adobe flash player 23, so i use the right click f and right click b)

and i probably look like a knowitall and shit, but it'd bring me great joy to know that i've saved people from the labour of right clicking and clicking forward/back.

I actually didn't know about the 'f' and 'b' thing, wish I did but a bit too late now =__=
