Soldier

When WW3 broke out, countries developed gene-enhancing serums, that gave users godlike powers.
When the great war ended, the few remaining soldiers returned home, their DNA passed to their children, and grandchildren, forming lineages of these abilities. Few possessed the powers of their parents, due to the recessive nature of the genes that caused the abilities.

The high casualties from the war, combined with the damage the war caused, weakened the government. Crime and corruption reigned supreme.

50 years later, those who have these powers are quite rare. This story follow a duo of thieves, descended from the soldiers, trying to survive in this twisted future.

Enjoy!
