About Us
What is Hyun’s Dojo?
Hyun’s Dojo is an animation/art community that showcases works from independent creators from around the world. Anyone is welcome to join no matter their skill level. Want to learn animation? Want to participate in community events and collaborations? Want to improve your skills for a chance to be featured? Enter the Dojo and see if its the right place for you!
Who is Hyun?
Hyun is the founder of the Dojo community. What was originally a small group of friends within a previous community called Fluidanims, the Dojo has since grown to a gathering of over 25 thousand members and a fanbase of over 2 million people! Now the Dojo is run and maintained by a dedicated group of staff members who are equally dedicated towards improving the community.
Why Stickfigures?
Stickfigures have always been a traditional core medium within our community ever since the early days of the internet. Its universal simplicity make it perfect for starting animators, but also provide the perfect challenge for experienced animators to push the boundaries of a limited medium.
What is our Purpose?
Our purpose has always been simple: to make and share cool projects together. Being founded and run by animators, we strive to build a comfortable, welcoming space where artists feel inspired to create the passion projects they’ve always dreamed of.
