CHRISTMAS COLLAB 2025

THE GOAL FOR THIS COLLAB!
The goal of this collab is to make a CHRISTMAS MONTAGE revolving around a simple Christmas tree. What are your OCs doing around the tree? Make a nice setting and decorate the tree how you like it! At the end we’ll string together the montage while the tree stays centered.
- People of all skills and animation programs can join, but not guaranteed a spot.
- We will be posting this collab on the Hyun’s Dojo Community Channel
- If you’re new to the Dojo join our discord!
🌲Tree Rules (READ):
- YOU MUST USE THE PROVIDED TEMPLATE!!! (Scroll Down)
- The tree MUST stay in its original spot.
- You CANNOT change the tree shape or move it off its base.
- Tree must be visible at start & end of part.
- Tree can be animated to interact with your scene.
- ✅Ex: We allow stuff like the tree having windy branches, tree catching on fire, snow falling on the tree as long as it stays in the same spot
- ❌We do not allow stuff like the tree jumping/moving around like its own character, the tree transforming, or the tree having a different type of tree shape.
- Tree colour can be changed and shading can be added.
- Tree can be decorated with ornaments/other decor.
🎬 The Specs:
- Export minimum 1920x1080p video as an mp4 or mov.
- If you’re using Flash/Animate & don’t know how, you can use Swivel to export as mp4.
- NO VCAM & NO CAMERA MOVEMENT/ANGLES ALLOWED.
- NO SFX NEEDED. All sound will be muted.
- Parts must be at least 1 second long.
- No maximum limit, but Sopple reserves the right to trim parts.
- Parts must be 24 fps or something divisible.
- Background must have clear effort put into it!
- DON’T FORGET YOUR NAME or LOGO!!!
🔔Other Rules:
- Anybody can join this collab! However, nobody is guaranteed a position.
- All animation programs are welcome, but your part cannot have a program watermark in the video.
- All Hyun’s Dojo Community Rules are applicable to this collab.
- You can put your ocs/duelists/other characters, but you cannot add ocs of banned community members.
- You can submit multiple parts!

🌲FAQ🌲
1️⃣ Does the Christmas tree have to be centered?
It has to be EXACTLY the same spot as the template.
2️⃣ I cannot move the tree symbol in Flash/Adobe Animate. Why?
The symbol is locked to prevent accidental moving. If you need to though:
📌 Keybind Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L with the tree layer unlocked to unlock the symbol.
📌 Or you can do on the top menu Modify ➡️ Arrange ➡️ Unlock All.
3️⃣ Can I make the background move around the tree but the tree stays still?
Yes, this is a great idea!
4️⃣ Can my oc start by standing in the middle instead of walking into the screen?
Yes, they can start in the middle of the screen.
5️⃣ Are impact frames allowed?
Yes, but if there is too much flashing lights (over 1 second) it may not be accepted because it may strain some eyes.
6️⃣ I edited my part. Can I resubmit?
Yes, you can resubmit as much as you like & your newest one will be reviewed. You can also submit multiple entries.
7️⃣ Generally how long can parts be?
There is no maximum limit, but try to make your part around 1-10 seconds long. You can go over that though if your idea is really juicy.
8️⃣ Does it have to be a tree?
It does not have to be a tree, but it has to be the same shape as the template tree. If you can fit something else inside the tree silhouette, it is allowed.
