Don’t know what to post? Introduce yourself here!
What do you do and how did you find the Dojo? What are your hobbies? What are your future plans?
My name is Hyun and I’ve been animating since 2009. I first started animating stick figures inside of textbooks cus I hated reading. Got a hold of my first animation program in class (macromedia flash cs2) and was hooked ever since. After a few months of just playing around making silly stick figure animations, I realized there was an entire community of people like me on the internet called Fluidanims. Then until now I still pretty much do the same thing; Just animating stick figures with a bunch of other cool people who like to do the same.
I don’t really have much plans other than making the Dojo a cool place to chill and joining collabs until I die of oldness.
I’m Lux and I’ve been in the dojo for something over a year now (my dojoversary is august 25th) – I do mostly G-sticks and am completely and utterly obsessed with the old RHGs. My main OC’s name is Lumen and I am slowly but surely working on a story for him.
I’m also a moderator on the discord for the ranks and creative sections.
Hello! My name’s Michi, I was also known as Flame way back when.
I’ve been animating since around 2009-2010, primarily in Pivot, and sometimes in Aseprite, Flash and Blender. You may know me for the “Rapier vs Greatsword” and “Andre RHG Tribute” animations on the Dojo channel.
I originally hail from a Pivot-oriented community on a forum called DarkDemon; I joined it in around 2014, stuck around, and nowadays I am the head admin there, taking care of the place alongside my admin buddy Gary. I’ve been around on the Dojo and its discord from basically day one as well. (Geez that makes me feel old lmao).
As for the future, I don’t really have any concrete plans. I’ll keep animating and sharing what I know with others for as long as I am able, and take care of DarkDemon until I can pass the torch to the next generation.
Howdy yall, I’m TheBoredArtist, but call me Bored.
I’m an animator who sometimes forgets to animate because something else got my attention.
I’ve been following the Dojo since 2015, but I actually joined the Discord in 2017.
I mainly utilize Flash/Animate and Clipstudio when making my animations.
Most of the time, everything I usually do goes unfinished, but I have a few projects that I’m going to finish anyways
One of them being is the “Madness Stick Collab”
A collaboration between the Madness Combat Community and the Dojo.
I’m also a moderator for the discord for the duels section.
Yo, it’s WindOso.✌️
I found about about the dojo like 2 years ago(through Gildedguy), watched many of the animators and their unique styles within it and got really hyped, then joined the next year after seeing an entry(Sulfur’s) for the Chosen One Tournament 2025. I found it all really cool including the community’s shared worldbuilding(Cier) and its history.
Been gaming along with programming physics and life-like sims, games and other aesthetic projects using JavaScript. And shortly after joining the Dojo, I started learning animation(been one year since then by now). I plan to do something worthwhile and establish a mark by involving myself in here despite the procrastination and maybe… just maybe… I can somehow eventually graduate from FlipaClip lol.
