You still need to render the animation with a solid-colored background like the .png template.
RULES
- 24 FPS
- 1920 x 1080 canvas size
- Entries should be 5-30 seconds in length
- Don’t move the camera / Vcam
- Nothing NSFW or suggestive
- Nothing potentially epileptic
- Anything brought into frame must leave by the end of your entry
- The stone should not move or be destroyed
- Sounds are recommended but not required
- Only 1 entry per person
- No watermarks
- No music

Your entry may be slightly adjusted if necessary during the compilation process to work with other people’s entries. We also may reject your entry to maintain a high level of quality, if you’re a controversial figure or banned member of the Hyun’s Dojo community, or if your entry contains anything potentially offensive or sensitive. Entries that do not follow any rules mentioned above will also not be considered for review.
FAQ
Q: How will I know if my entry was accepted?
A: We will review the entries live on the Dojocast the night of the 31st. Don’t worry about being accepted or not. If we can tell you had fun, that’s what will matter.
Q: Can I shake the screen or the stone?
A: Generally no, but if you can execute it so it works seamlessly when transitioning into or out of another person’s entry then good luck.
Q: Can I add gore to my animation?
A: Yes, but keep it minimal. Excessive gore will be considered NSFW and will not be accepted.
Q: Can I joint/work with another animator?
A: Yes, just make sure you credit their name as well when submitting the entry.
Q: Can I submit a .swf, .avi, or .webm?
A: No. The only file types that will be reviewed are .fla, .mp4, and .mov.
Q: Can I shake the camera?
A: Yes, just don’t go overboard!
Q: Can I submit an entry with a watermark I can’t remove?
A: Yes, just be sure to animate around the watermark so I can remove it in post.
Q: Sticknodes renders at 1920 x 1056. Will this be an issue?
A: It’s close enough, I’ll allow it.
Q: Can I animate characters that are not stick figures?
A: Yes, all styles of animation are welcome!
